Swallow Class
Welcome to Swallow Class! Our Year 2 and 3 students are set for an exciting year of learning, exploration and growth. In Swallow Class, we focus on building confidence and curiosity in a friendly, supportive environment that encourages every child to thrive.
This year, our main topics are:
•Victorian Visions – Journeying back to explore the fascinating world of Victorian life, from inventive breakthroughs to daily life in this era.
•Sailors and Swashbucklers – Embarking on an adventure through the age of exploration, learning about legendary voyages, famous explorers and life on the high seas.
•Tombs and Temples – Discovering the wonders of the ancient Maya civilisation, including their unique culture, cities and achievements that continue to amaze us today.
Alongside these exciting topics, we’ll be building skills in reading, writing and maths, with plenty of hands-on activities and creative projects to inspire and engage. In Swallow Class, each child is encouraged to work together, think independently and embrace new challenges.
