Buzzard Class

Buzzard (3)

Welcome to the Buzzard Class page! Taught by Mr Browne, our Year 4 and 5 class is ready for an exciting year full of discovery, learning and growth. In Buzzard Class, we focus on building confidence, independence and curiosity as we dive into new subjects and skills.

This year, our main themes are:

•Victorian Visions – Uncovering the fascinating world of Victorian Britain, exploring inventions, daily life and the impact of this era on the world around us.

•Sailors and Swashbucklers – Setting sail on adventures through history as we learn about explorers, the age of discovery and the legendary figures who shaped the seas.

•Tombs and Temples – A journey back to ancient times, where we’ll explore the mysteries of ancient Maya and other incredible civilisations.

Alongside these exciting topics, we’ll be developing core skills in reading, writing and maths, with plenty of opportunities to ask questions, discuss ideas and tackle challenges together. In Buzzard Class, every child is encouraged to think independently, collaborate with others and make positive choices that help them prepare for the next steps in their learning journey.

Keep an eye on this page for updates, class news and important reminders about trips or special activities. If you have any questions or would like to know more about what we’re up to, please feel free to get in touch. We’re looking forward to a fantastic year ahead in Buzzard Class!
